The Mirror Affair

What does a mirror capture, what does it reflect, how does the gaze go through it and how does the world appear on its reverse? A mirror-making workshop is set up within the conference. We look at the world through a mirror, but also capture it with one. We’re in Berlin and its environs, as the participants find a relationship with this concept and the city by means of a large, 9 x 4m mirror. Three hundred and fifty people set out to encapsulate the city with a massive mirror.
